Guns Have Feelings Too...

     Guess what Gun Control Advocates, I took my "Assault Rifle" to the rifle range and to your horror there were many other people there with their "Assault Rifles" and you know what happened? NOBODY GOT SHOT OR KILLED!!! How can that be you ask, as you thought all guns were bad and Santa needs to give them coal for Christmas (another dirty word) and the Almighty Government needs to take them away from us. You see, we recognize that you think it's the guns fault that people get shot and killed by them and not the NUT on the end of it. So having said that, Everybody who was at the range with their "Assault Rifles" have nurtured and raised their guns not to be killers but to be instruments of self defense and instruments of "Hobby". Hobby, you say. How can owning and shooting an "Assault Rifle" be considered a "Hobby"? Well to those of us who Legally own one and subscribe to the Responsibility of owning one, we see it as no different than any other outdoor activity. See, going to the gun range with friends and family is a way of life for us gun owners. I have met new people and made friends while I take my "Assault Rifle" to the range so we can safely play together. While at the range, we gun owners let our guns play with other people while we are there. Amazing isn't it, that I would give my "Assault Rifle" to a stranger, and he/she gives me theirs and we shoot them together and compare them with each other, laugh with each other as we shoot each others "Assault Rifles"! But as I said, I am a gun owner and it would not be fair if I didn't include the semi-automatic pistols I have and also take to the range. They have feelings too. Also, people who compare my "Assault Rifle" to a Military style rifle haven't a clue what they are talking about. You see Military Rifles can go fully auto and my rifle is only semi-auto, just like a semi-auto pistol. They may look similar but they are not the same. Don't be confused on this subject.
     All sarcasm aside, we have all seen the effect assault can have on a person. Whether it is with a bat, golf club, knife, vehicle, skillet, pencil, rock, brick, pipe, chain saw, or words. Its not the instruments fault, but the person at the end of it. So how about you leave us alone and leave our guns alone. Don't convict the whole group of gun owners because a crazy person gets a gun and goes on a killing spree. You see I am a "Assault Rifle and Semi-Automatic Pistol Owner" and mine have never Assaulted anybody.
